Updated terms and conditions 2026
Parcel and Logistics Services
PostNord Home Small (formerly Varubrev)
As part of our Nordic offering, we are simplifying things for you as a customer by consolidating our smaller home deliveries under a single name, delivered directly to the mailbox or door. Starting May 4, Varubrev will be renamed to PostNord Home Small.
With PostNord Home Small, you receive the same reliable delivery service and high customer satisfaction as today, but with clearer terms and greater flexibility through two delivery-time options. The weight limit will be increased to 3 kilograms, allowing you to send more parcels within the same service.
PostNord Home Small is covered by NSAB, which means clear and regulated responsibility throughout the entire delivery process.
More parcels to parcel lockers with shorter retention time
We are shortening the retention time in our parcel lockers to increase turnover and enable faster flows. With a standard retention time of three days, more parcels can be delivered directly to the parcel locker selected by the recipient. If more time is needed, the recipient can extend the retention period for up to 7 days in the PostNord App (initially at no cost). During periods of high volume, the time may temporarily be shorter to ensure fast deliveries.
The change is planned to be implemented in September.
Applies to the services PostNord Parcel Locker, PostNord Parcel, PostNord Home, and PostNord Service Point.
Letter services
New requirements for letter shipments containing goods to Denmark
Starting on 4 May 2026, it will no longer be permitted to send goods in shipments to Denmark without a barcode. The following services are affected by this change:
- First-Class International Letter with destination Denmark
- Letter mailing First-Class and Economy letters to Denmark, all formats
Shipments to Denmark using these services may only contain documents. To send goods up to 2 kg to Denmark, we offer PostNord Tracked Letter, which provides traceability and fast delivery.
Other destination countries are not affected by this change.
